Yankee Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
    In another bowl, mix eggs, milk and oil.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Beat just until smooth.
    Spoon batter into hot, greased cast-iron corn stick pans.
    Fill 2/3 full each.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 20 sticks.
