Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 c. pecan bits
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Combine and toast first 5 ingredients in 300\u00b0 oven for 1/2 hour.
    Stir often and watch closely.
    Allow to cool.
    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, put half of Rice Krispies mixture on bottom; spread ice cream on top.
    Cover with remaining mixture.
    Cover air tightly and return to freezer.
