Famous Chewy Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. margarine
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oats
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat together margarine, sugars, egg, water and vanilla until creamy.
Add combined remaining dry ingredients; mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
