Cranberry Salad Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (3 oz.) pkg. black raspberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 c. fresh cranberries, ground
    2 apples (unpeeled), cored and ground
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    lettuce leaves and orange slices with mayonnaise (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cold water and chill. Mix next 6 ingredients.
    Fold into gelatin.
    Pour into lightly oiled 10-cup ring mold.
    Chill until set.
    Fill center of ring with mayonnaise and garnish with orange slices.
    Makes 18 to 20 servings.
