Blueberry Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices white bread, trim crusts
2 Tbsp. softened butter
1 1/2 c. blueberries
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Spread 1 side of bread with butter.
Cut each slice into 4 squares.
Arrange in lightly buttered 8-inch square baking dish, buttered side up.
Sprinkle with blueberries and cinnamon.
Heat milk and sugar until warm (do not boil) and stir until sugar dissolves.
Combine warm milk mixture, eggs and vanilla.
Pour over blueberries.
Set dish in larger pan; add hot water to depth of 1-inch.
