Liebesschleifen(Love Knots) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. flour (2 c.)
50 gm. butter, melted (3 Tbsp.)
2 eggs
50 gm. sugar (1/4 c.)
1 shot glass rum
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Beat eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add melted butter.
Beat well.
Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together.
Add rum.
Let stand one hour.
