Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-sleeve saltines - salted
    2 sticks butter - unsalted
    1-cup sugar
    1 12 ounce package milk chocolate bits
    1-cup ground nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
    Line foil with crackers close as you can.
    Melt sugar and butter on stovetop; cook 1 minute to dissolve.
    Pour over saltines.
    Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle milk chocolate bits over warm crackers and smear after a couple minutes.
    While chocolate is warm sprinkle on nuts. Let cool or place in freezer and break into pieces several hours later.
