Beefy Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 onion, chopped
    1 to 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Combine meal, milk, eggs, salt, soda, bacon drippings and corn in bowl.
    Blend well and set aside.
    Put half of batter in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with meat, onion, peppers and cheese.
    Pour remaining batter over top.
    Bake for 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
