Crunchy Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced celery
    2 (5 oz.) cans water chestnuts, sliced or whole
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    3/4 c. breadcrumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Steam celery in a small amount of salted water until tender but still crisp, about 5 minutes.
    Drain well. Add water chestnuts, basil, garlic and soup.
    Stir.
    Pour into a well-greased 2 quart casserole.
