Layered Potato-Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. grated cheese
    3 potatoes, peeled and sliced
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Mix raw hamburger with onions, salt and pepper.
    Press into a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish and cover with the condensed soup. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of soup and arrange sliced potatoes on top of the cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.
    Serves 6 to 8.
