Sweet And Sour Chicken Wings(Messy But Good!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. (approximately 24) chicken wings
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    vegetable oil
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 can or 1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/4 c. soy sauce
Preparation
    Break wings into thirds and discard tips.
    Combine beaten egg and water; set aside.
    Combine 1/2 teaspoon salt, flour and cornstarch in a large Ziploc bag.
    Dip each piece of wing into egg/water mixture, then into Ziploc bag with flour mixture; coat evenly.
    Brown in hot oil and let drain on paper towel.
    Place browned chicken into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, vinegar, broth, catsup and soy sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer.
    Pour over chicken wings.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes, basting every 20 minutes.
    Sauce will thicken during the final 15 minutes.
