Ginger Crackles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Measure
    flour,
    ginger,
    baking
    soda\tand
    salt
    into sifter.
    Cream shortening;\tadd sugar.
    Beat in egg and molasses. Sift
    dry
    ingredients
    over mixture;
    blend well.\tMake dough into balls\t1-inch in diameter.
    Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
