Pecan Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

8 oz. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. heavy Karo syrup (dark)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. pecan nuts, halved
Preparation

Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt until thick and creamy. Pour cheese mixture into uncooked, unpricked 9-inch pie crust. Sprinkle pecans over cheese mixture.
Beat eggs, Karo syrup, sugar and vanilla until blended and pour over cheese mixture and pecans.
