Pauley'S Poulet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken and 2 half breasts or 3 whole chicken breasts
    5 c. water
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. onion salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 pkg. chopped broccoli
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Cook chicken in water with salt, pepper and onion salt.
    Remove meat from bones and cut into pieces.
    Cook broccoli until tender in remaining chicken broth.
    Drain well.
    Arrange broccoli in bottom of 3-quart Pyrex dish (13 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 1 3/4-inch).
    Place chicken on top of broccoli.
    Combine cream of chicken soup with mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder and pour over chicken.
    Top with cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
    Can be made before and refrigerated.
    I use more curry powder than called for.
