Mahogany Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preparation
    Sift flour once; measure and sift again with salt and soda. Cream butter thoroughly.
    Add sugar gradually; cream well.
    Add vanilla.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add sifted ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture while beating on low speed.
    Add melted chocolate and blend well.
    Bake in two 8 or 9-inch round, greased pans at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
