Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Snowdrift or Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and flour, alternating and beating between each addition.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in a small tube pan.
