Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (14 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix (Lawrey's)
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz. lasagna noodles
2 (6-8 oz.) pkgs. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Brown meat slowly; drain off excess fat.
Add next four ingredients.
Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add small amounts of water if necessary.
Salt to taste.
Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until tender, following package instructions.
Drain, rinse in cold water.
Place 1/3 of noodles in 9 X 13 baking dish; cover with 1/3 of sauce, then layer 1/2 of Mozzarella and 1/2 of cottage cheese.
Repeat layers, ending with sauce.
Top with Parmesan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until heated through.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Cut in squares.
Can be prepared ahead and frozen.
