Old Fashion Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except vanilla and nuts, in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to a low setting and cook, stirring occasionally, to 235\u00b0 or until mixture forms a soft ball in water, about 3 hours.
Remove from heat and let stand until cool.
Add vanilla and stir until it becomes thick and creamy.
Add nuts. Pour into small greased dish. Mark into squares.
Top each square with nut half.
Makes 1 pound.
