Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 eggs
5 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs and milk; beat well. Combine flour and soda.
Add to mixture.
Blend.
Add vanilla. Chill 1 hour.
Roll dough 1/4 inch thick.
Cut and place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with sugar (optional). Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes.
