Pork Roast "Drunk Pig" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fresh ham or pork roast
1/5 Sauterne wine
garlic cloves
salt, pepper and garlic salt
Preparation

Prepare roast for oven by making wells in roast (stick knife into roast, then stick your finger in the hole).
Place a piece of garlic (not whole pod, maybe half or third if big pods) in bottom of hole, then fill the hole with salt.
Place roast in roasting pan.
Rub salt all over roast, then pepper and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Brown roast at 450\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes. Pour wine over roast after browned to leave about 1/4-inch in bottom of pan.
Baste every 15 minutes with wine.
Decrease temperature to 350\u00b0 after 45 minutes.
Cover and cook 2 to 3 1/2 hours according to size of roast.
If wine begins to dry in bottom of pan, add more.
