Golden Fried Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant
    salt to taste
    freshly ground pepper
    1/4 lb. butter
Preparation
    Cut the eggplant into slices 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick.
    Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
    Let drain on paper towels for 30 minutes; pat dry.
