Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Fold in strawberries, nuts, bananas and pineapple.
    Put 1/2 of mixture (approximately 3 cups) in a large bowl and chill 2 1/2 hours.
    Leave other 1/2 at room temperature.
    Spread sour cream over the chilled mixture and the remaining mixture over sour cream.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
