Rice And Beans Creole Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    white rice (instant or regular)
    2 cloves or 1 Tbsp. garlic
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can Progresso red or black beans
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 bay leaf (optional)
    chopped pieces of your favorite sausage (optional)
Preparation
    Notice:
    If making rice that takes at least 30 minutes, start it before the beans.
    Make sure all ingredients are chopped and all cans are opened before beginning.
