Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 c. shredded cabbage
    1 large onion, minced
    1 mango or sweet pepper, minced
    7/8 c. oil
    7/8 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt (rounded)
Preparation
    Bring oil, vinegar, sugar and salt to a rolling boil. Pour slowly over slaw, onion and pepper.
    Let stand 1 1/2 hours without stirring.
    Store in plastic container.
    Will keep in refrigerator for a month.
