Sweetheart Fudge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels, melted
    2 tsp. instant coffee powder
    1 tsp. rum extract
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
    1/2 c. whipped cream, whipped
    maraschino cherries with stems (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add brown sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add melted chocolate, coffee powder and rum extract, mixing well.
    Stir in flour and walnuts.
    Pour mixture into prepared 9-inch pastry shell.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes; cool completely on a wire rack. Chill.
    Before serving, pipe whipped cream on top of the pie.
    Garnish with cherries.
