Raisin Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box (15 oz.) Raisin Bran
    3 c. sugar
    5 c. plain flour
    5 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. melted shortening (Crisco)
    1 qt. buttermilk
    add extra raisins if you want
Preparation
    Combine all dry ingredients, mix well.
    Add liquids.
    Hand mix until thoroughly combined.
    Can store in covered container in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
    Spoon out of container onto greased muffin cups.
    Do not stir mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
