Mushroom And Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. water
    1/2 c. baby lima beans
    2/3 c. green split peas
    2/3 c. barley
    1 lb. flanken
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. yellow split peas
    3 onions
    4 carrots
    4 stalks celery
    8 oz. can mushrooms with liquid
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in pot.
    Cook slowly 3 or 4 hours or until thick.
    If soup should thicken too much while standing, add water.
    Stir frequently.
