Contemporary Resort'S French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    8 slices day-old bread, thick sliced
    1/2 c. shortening or margarine
    3/4 c. cinnamon sguar
    maple syrup
Preparation
    Mix eggs, milk and salt well (do not beat) in a flat pan.
    Dip bread into mixture, being sure slices are well covered.
    Heat shortening or margarine in skillet and fry bread to a golden brown.
    Dip in sugar and serve with maple syrup.
