Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk (scald 150~)
Preparation

Beat egg yolks.
Slowly add sugar which has been mixed with cornstarch and salt.
Beat until thick.
Scald milk until scum forms.
Slowly add scalded milk, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla. Cook in bowl or 1-quart measuring cup until thick and bubbly (High 3 to 4 minutes).
Stir once or twice.
Cool.
