German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until done.
    Peel.
    Fry onion and bacon together until nearly crisp.
    Cube or slice potatoes.
    Add salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar and water together; cook until sugar is dissolved. Add cut potatoes to sugar and water dressing.
    Fold gently and serve.
    Serves 10.
