Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. popped corn
    1 (1 lb.) box brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pinch of cream of tartar
    1/2 lb. peanuts
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, margarine, syrup, salt and cream of tartar hard for 5 minutes.
    Add soda.
    Mix well.
    Work quickly.
    Pour over popped corn.
    Spread out on cookie sheets.
    Bake for 1 hour at 200\u00b0 in buttered cookie sheets.
    Stir occasionally.
