Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour and salt.
    Gradually stir in milk.
    Cook and stir over medium-high heat until bubbly.
    Cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir a moderate amount of hot mixture into yolks; immediately return to hot mixture.
    Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Add 1 cup flaked coconut to vanilla cream pie filling.
    Pour into cooled baked pastry shell*. Spread meringue atop pie.
    Sprinkle with 1/3 cup coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool.
