Candied Grapefruit Peel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 grapefruit rinds
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut grapefruit rinds into strips; cover in cold water and boil 2 minutes.
    Repeat this procedure 3 times; drain thoroughly.
    Make syrup of sugar and water; bring to boil and put in the rinds. Boil slowly until all syrup is absorbed.
    Spread on cookie sheet and drop each piece of rind in granulated sugar and leave spread out until dry.
