Apricot Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 1/2 oz. box vanilla wafers, crushed
4 eggs
1 1/2 sticks oleo
2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
3 pkg. Dream Whip or 1 carton of Cool Whip
4 jars baby food (apricot with tapioca)
Preparation

Place vanilla wafers in a well-buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cook in double boiler eggs, oleo and powdered sugar until it is the consistency of mayonnaise.
Spread mixture over crumbs.
Let cool. Put nuts over the filling.
Put Cool Whip over filling.
Pour baby food over top of Cool Whip.
Let set 24 to 48 hours before serving.
