Stove Top Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 onion, chopped
    1 can tomatoes (2 c.)
    1 can creamed corn (2 c.)
    1 c. milk
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 can pitted olives, drained
    Jack cheese
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven, fry ground chuck and onion until meat is cooked through.
    Add tomatoes, creamed corn, milk, cornmeal, salt, chili powder and olives; mix well.
    Cover with 1/8-inch (or more) thick strips of Jack cheese.
    Cook, covered, for 20 to 25 minutes on top of the stove on low heat.
    Serves 6 to 8.
