Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. lemon flavor
Preparation
    Mix Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time; mix well. Sift together flour, salt and soda.
    Add alternately with buttermilk.
    Add flavoring; beat 5 minutes.
    Bake in tube pan (greased and floured) at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until done.
