Peanut Clusters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. oats and/or coconut
    1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
Preparation
    In large saucepan, heat sugar, butter and milk to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Remove from heat; mix in peanut butter and vanilla.
    Stir in oats and/or coconut and nuts.
    Drop by scant tablespoon onto waxed paper or foil.
    If mixture is too stiff, stir in 1 or 2 drops of milk.
    If mixture is too thin, stir in oats or coconut.
    Let stand until firm.
    Makes about 2 1/2 dozen candies.
