"Shoney'S" Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
strawberries

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients and bring to a boil; cook until thick. Cool for 15 minutes.
Add Jell-O.
Line baked pie shell with strawberries.
Pour mixture over berries.
When ready to serve, top with dollops of Cool Whip or Dream Whip.
