Aunt Opal'S Pan Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk, scalded
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 yeast cake, dissolved in (1/4 c.) lukewarm water
    4 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Scald milk; add milk, sugar, butter and salt.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Add egg, yeast and 1 1/2 cups flour and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
    Add another 1/4 cup flour.
    Stir in rest of flour with a spoon until dough is stiff enough to handle.
    Let dough rise until double in size.
    Place on a lightly floured board and knead gently for 1 minute.
    Shape into rolls.
    Place on greased pan.
    Let rise until double in size.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
