Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
4 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 green pepper
1 large onion, chopped
2 cans (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. flour
2 cans red beans
Preparation

Brown beef and drain.
Sprinkle with chili powder, salt and sugar and mix well.
Add onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, water and bay leaf.
Cover and simmer 1 hour.
Mix together oil and flour.
Add to meat mixture.
Add beans.
Simmer until heated, 30 minutes.
