Keftedes(Greek Meat Balls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. water
    5 slices bread, moistened or 8 saltines, moistened
    chopped mint or oregano
    1 egg
    1 clove garlic, crushed
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients. Shape into small balls or large flat cakes.
    Roll in flour and fry in hot vegetable oil.
    Makes 30 small keftedes.
