Coconut Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. applesauce
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. orange extract
    1 c. red cherries, cut up
    2 c. chopped dates
    1 1/2 c. Angel Flake coconut
    4 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. sifted cake flour
Preparation
    Empty cake mix in large bowl.
    Add applesauce, eggs, salt and flavoring.
    Beat 3 minutes until smooth.
    Combine nuts, coconut and cherries with 3/4 cup flour.
    Stir in batter until well mixed.
