Mom'S Peach Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix (ingredients as per box)
    1 (28 oz.) can sliced cling peaches
    1 pt. heavy cream
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Prepare cake as per box instructions using two 9-inch round cake pans.
    Strain peaches and reserve syrup.
    Set aside 10 peach slices for cake topping.
    Blend remaining peaches and set aside.
