Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. crunchy or plain peanut butter
Preparation
    Butter an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar, milk and salt.
    Boil for 10 minutes.
    Add butter; boil until it forms a soft ball in a cup of cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and peanut butter.
    Beat until smooth; pour into pan.
    Cut when cool.
