Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies(Makes About 4 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
marshmallows

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add dry ingredients and milk.
Drop onto cookie sheets by teaspoon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Remove from oven.
Press 1/2 marshmallow on top of each and bake 2 minutes longer.
Frost when cool.
