Plain Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. ice water
Preparation
    Yields 3 (10-inch) double crusts or 1 large cobbler.
    Sift flour and salt.
    Cut in shortening with pastry.
    Blend until mixture looks like meal.
    Sprinkle water, a little at a time. Press together until you form a ball.
    Let stand several minutes. Roll out.
