Banana Split - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2/3 c. melted margarine
1 c. softened butter or margarine
2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 lb. can crushed pineapple, drained
4 bananas
9 oz. Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped nuts
maraschino cherries
chocolate syrup
Preparation

Combine graham cracker crumbs and 2/3 cup melted margarine and press into bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
Combine and beat together softened butter or margarine, confectioners sugar, vanilla and eggs.
Spread over graham cracker crumbs.
Drain pineapple.
Slice bananas and soak for few minutes in the pineapple juice to prevent browning.
Drain banana slices and put pineapple and bananas on top of mixture.
Spread Cool Whip on top of fruit.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and top with halved maraschino cherries.
