Broccoli With Ginger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli
    2 cloves garlic, cut in half
    2 slices peeled fresh ginger root
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 tsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Rinse broccoli in cool water.
    Cut florets off; reserve.
    Peel tough outer layer from stems; grate stems and place in a 2-quart casserole.
    Add garlic, ginger and oil.
    Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap.
    Microwave on High 4 minutes.
    Add florets; re-cover and microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Remove garlic and ginger; sprinkle with salt.
