Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    coarsely ground kosher or sea salt
Preparation
    Combine yeast, water and sugar in mixing bowl.
    Allow to stand until yeast is dissolved and begins to foam (about 5 minutes). Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and flour.
