Plaza 3 Steak Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. oleo
1 c. flour
2 qt. warm water
1 1/2 lb. lean ground chuck
1 c. diced onion
1 c. diced carrots
1 c. diced celery
10 oz. pkg. mixed vegetables
16 oz. can tomatoes
2 beef bouillon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Kitchen Bouquet (to get brown color)
Preparation

Melt oleo. Stir in flour.
Make a smooth base. Gradually add 2 quarts warm water, stirring constantly. Saute meat in a large skillet. Drain. Add meat to soup.
Parboil onions, carrots and celery for 15 minutes. Drain. Add to soup.
Add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer 30 to 45 minutes.
Makes 3 quarts.
